First Stage’s Christmas Shows Are a Holiday Tradition

The children’s theater company promises to make spirits bright with ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.’

Allow me to share a wonderful holiday tradition. Every year, I kick off the season with First Stage’s Christmas show. I’ve seen Elf, A Charlie Brown Christmas and last year’s show, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The productions are a reliably spectacular Christmas delight, whether you’re a kid or an adult.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

This season’s offering is The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, running Nov. 24-Dec. 24. The holiday favorite tells the story of the “worst kids in the history of the world” and how they are cast in a church Christmas pageant. Plus, as an added bonus, the Todd Wehr Theater is within walking distance of some of Milwaukee’s most spectacular holiday lights. After the show, a quick walk around Pere Marquette Park makes for a perfect holiday evening.
