Where to Get Dumplings, Glorioso's New Cooking School and More on This Bites

Tarik Moody and I are back with another This Bites podcast. Our segment runs at 8 a.m. Fridays on 88Nine Radio Milwaukee. But you can access our podcast here. This week, we talk about some of the content in the new October issue of Milwaukee Magazine.

In my Dining section, I offer a roundup of great dumplings to get at five local restaurants. They include the pork dumplings at Lucky Ginger in the Third Ward and the Nepali-style momo at The Cheel in Thiensville. Learn about the other dumplings you need to try.

If you’re a fan of Glorioso’s, the Italian market on Brady Street – and who isn’t? – you need to know about Appetito, the cooking school that Glorioso’s owners recently opened in the shop’s original location. It’s a really cool space and has some interesting classes coming up for cooks who love Italian cuisine. Hear more about that.
