12 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: June 26-30

Enlightened Brewing Company is throwing a summer block party on Saturday. That’s just one of the many events coming up!

Wednesday, June 26

The Tap Yard – Waukesha (1927 E. Sunset Dr.) is hosting its first beer dinner. Nadi Plates food truck teams up with Great Lakes Brewing for the four-course dinner that begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are $60.

Sprecher Brewing’s Traveling Beer Garden makes a s stop at Grant Park (100 Hawthorne Ave.). Hours are 5 to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

The weekly release at 1840 Brewing Company is Plumpy – Plumpy in the U.S.A., a fruited sour made with raspberry, grape and blueberry. They’re also tapping Alora The Explorer, an experimental saison.

Component Brewing is bringing its tap truck to Glacier Hills County Park (1571 Lake Dr., Hubertus) for a pop-up beer garden and open house from 4:30 to 8 p.m.

Friday, June 28

Try samples from The Fermentorium at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 3 to 6 p.m.

Saturday, June 29

Enlightened Brewing Company (2020 S. Allis St.) is throwing a day-long summer block party from noon to 11 p.m. They’ll be releasing three new Rough Draught Series beers during the fun.

Jigs & Swigs comes to Torzala Brewing Company (2018 S. 1st St.) at 1 p.m. Burn calories with the Irish-dance inspired workout and follow it up with a post-workout beer.

1840 Brewing Company’s Beer Garden Road Show is stopping at Liberty Heights Park (1530 S. 62nd St.). They’ll be pouring from 4 to 8 p.m.

Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) is offering samples from Phase Three Brewing from noon to 2 p.m.

Sunday, June 30

New Barons Brewing Co-op (2018 S. 1st St.) is raising money for Courage MKE with a Challenge of Strength event. Participants compete in different events from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The family-friendly event includes a 50/50 raffle and a food truck.

It’s Dog Day Sunday at Component Brewing (2018 S. 1st St.). That means you can bring your dog and get $1 off of each beer if you do.

Taco Fest returns to The Tap Yard – Brookfield (2925 N. Barker Rd.). Several taco trucks will be there from noon to 6 p.m.

July 13: The 6th Annual Food Truck Rally is happening at Gathering Place.

July 19: The Crops on Top Garden Party takes place at Amorphic Beer (3700 N. Fratney St.). Tickets are limited to just 50.

July 20: Sahale Ale Works (1505 Wisconsin Ave., Grafton) celebrates five years of business with a party. More to come on this big event.

July 27: The 14th Milwaukee Brewfest takes place at McKinley Park (1750 N. Lincoln Memorial Dr.).
