Lakefront Beer Academy returns to Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The class discusses the history of beer and gives you a chance to taste a Lakefront beer or two and indulge in a few light appetizers. Cost is $15.
Erv’s Mug (130 W. Ryan Rd.) hosts a beer dinner with Capital Brewing. Open seating runs from 5 to 8 p.m. and the cost is $40.
Wednesday, March 21
Gathering Place Brewing Company is bringing its beers from Riverwest to Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) at 5 p.m.
The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave.) is pairing Girl Scout cookies with beers. For $16 you get four small pours and the cookies to taste them with.
Thursday, March 22
The Rumpus Room (1030 N. Water St.) hosts the Second Annual Young Guns Beer Dinner at 6 p.m. Chefs from a slew of Bartolotta restaurants are preparing a five-course menu paired with a wide range of beer styles. Tickets are $70 (tax and gratuity included).
Burnhearts (2599 S. Logan Ave.) hosts the launch party for American Solera at 7 p.m. The Tulsa brewery is bringing some rare sours and other fun stuff.
Check out the new Sprecher Tap Room (706 S. 5th St.) during the Milwaukee Craft Brewery League’s latest tap takeover. The beer from a ton of local breweries starts pouring at 4 p.m.
Friday, March 23
Try samples from Bofferding (4 to 7 p.m.) and Finch Beer Company (4 to 6 p.m.) at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.).
Good City Brewing is making a trip to Burnhearts at 8 p.m. Talk to brewer Andy Jones and co-founders David Dupee and Dan Katt while sipping on Barrel-aged Lord Lyon Scotch Ale the day before its official release. They’re also bringing the delicious Reward Double IPA.
Sierra Nevada is bringing the Chico Tap Room to The Brass Tap. The taps will be flowing with Sierra Nevada brews including four draft specialties. The fun starts at 5 p.m.
Summit comes to Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 4 to 6 p.m.
Lakefront Brewery hosts a release party for Strange Neighbor Double IPA and Amarillo IPA at 7 p.m. at Stubby’s (2060 N. Humboldt Ave.).
Saturday, March 24
It’s a big release day for Good City Brewing (2108 N. Farwell Ave.). At 10 a.m. the brewery opens its doors to patrons looking for Lord Lyon Scotch Ale aged in rye whiskey barrels. Good City is also tapping a 2017 Lord Lyon and of course serving really good food. Lord Lyon isn’t alone, Good City is also unveiling it’s spring seasonal, Velocity IPA. Get their early.
Discount Liquor Milwaukee hands out samples from Founders from noon to 3 p.m.
Try tastes of Milwaukee Brewing beers at Discount Liquor Waukesha from noon to 3 p.m.
Down Dogs and Drafts Yoga comes to The Fermentorium (7481 Hwy 60) at 11 a.m. For $15 you get a yoga session and tokens for free beer. Be sure to bring your own yoga mat.
