The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave.) hosts its annual Girl Scout cookie beer pairing on Tuesday and Wednesday (it was extended a day due to popularity). For $20 you can sample four cookie varieties with four different beers.
Another Girl Scout cookie pairing is happening at The Fermentorium Barrel House (6933 W. North Ave.) from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This one pairs five cookies with five beers and costs $30.
Wednesday, March 11
The beer release this week at 1840 Brewing (342 E. Ward St.) is a big one. The Cashmere Sweater IPA returns on draft on Wednesday at 4 p.m. The public bottle release is Saturday (March 14) at 11 a.m. If you like your hazy IPAs with flavor depth, it’s the beer for you.
The Milwaukee Beer Society takes a field trip to Gathering Place Brewing Company (811 E. Vienna Ave.) from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Meet friendly owner Joe Yeado and find out how the place runs.
Deliciousness from Drekker Brewing takes over the taps at Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) at 5 p.m.
Steny’s (800 S. 2nd St.) hosts a five-course beer dinner with Bell’s Brewery starting at 7 p.m. Expect there to be some good beers to pair with those courses. Cost is $45.
Thursday, March 12
Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) is releasing its Small Tank Series Belgian Quad starting at 6 p.m. The barrel-aged brew is extremely limited.
Karben4 hands out samples at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 4 to 6 p.m.
Friday, March 13
The next can release is 3 p.m. at Sahale Ale Works (1505 Wisconsin Ave.) is Dopplebock For More, brewed with caramel and Himalayan pink salt.
Try samples from City Lights Brewing at Discount Liquor Waukesha from 4 to 6 p.m.
Saturday, March 14
At 11 a.m., Eagle Park Brewing (823 E. Hamilton St.) releases Naughty Water, a barleywine aged in Four Roses bourbon barrels.
Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) hands out samples of Founders from noon to 3 p.m.
Sunday, March 15
The Fermentorium Barrel House hosts an afternoon of inclusivity from 1 to 5 p.m. Join the #IAmCraftBeer meetup for a few beers and a feeling of community.
