Raised Grain is donating $1 from every beer sold to The Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County. The fun runs from 3 to 11 p.m. on Friday and noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday.
1840 Brewing (342 E. Ward St.) releases The Cashmere Sweater IPA on draft from 3 to 10 p.m. Bottle sales start at 11 a.m. on Saturday. I recommend making a trip for this one. The beer has a nice and smooth, not overwhelming, juicy flavor but a hint of hop bitterness. There will likely be a line for bottles on Saturday, but 1840 handles busy releases like pros.
