Supermoon Beer Company (3145 S. Howell Ave.) has a pair of beer’s being released, and both are available now for preorder. Cellargeist is a gin barrel blended saison and Where You’re At, a collaboration with Central Waters Brewing, is an oak fermented landbier. Both sound amazing.
The final critique and tasting for the Beer Keep at New Barons Brewing Co-op (2018 S. 1st St.) is Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. Sample a pair of homebrews and pick a winner to be brewed commercially.

Wednesday, Oct. 9
More than two years of Three-Minute Thesis events at Amorphic Beer culminate with the Three-Minute Thesis All-Stars giving their speeches at the Oriental Theater (2230 N. Farwell Ave.). Tickets are $10 and include a free beer. Amorphic will have eight beers on tap at the event.

The weekly releases at 1840 Brewing Company are Foliage, a malty fall saison, and Coconut Telegraph, a fruited sour made with orange, tangerine, coconut, and pineapple.

Grilled cheese pairings are happening at North Pillar Brewing (212 E. North St., Waukesha). Shorty’s Grilled Cheese provides the sustenance, and they’ll pair four different sandwiches with four North Pillar beers.
Friday, Oct.11
Component Brewing and North Pillar Brewing teamed up to brew a West Coast IPA series called Midwest Mafia. The first iteration, Midwest Mafia Vol. 1, is a taproom only release. North Pillar has its launch party for the beer from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, and Component (2018 S. 1st St.) has its release party on Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m.
Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) offers samples from Boulevard Brewing from 3 to 5 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 12
Gathering Place Brewing celebrates its eighth annual Limb Shaker Day by releasing its standout Belgian tripel made with Door County cherries. They’ll also have the 2019 and 2020 versions on tap. Preorder your bottles now.
Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.), with a little help from the Wisconsin Athletic Club, hosts Bootcamp, Boos & Brews at 1:30 p.m. Sweat through a Halloween-themed workout and reward yourself with a beer when you’re done.
Foxtoberfest comes to Foxtown Brewing (6411 W. Mequon Rd.) from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. There will be a market from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., German dancers and live music.
There’s a Fall Art/Craft Show going on at Big Head Brewing (6204 W. State St.) from noon to 5 p.m. There will also be a raffle to benefit the Urban Cat Coalition.
The Great Pumpkin Makers Market takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ope! Brewing Company (6751 W. National Ave.).
