New Glarus is the featured brewery of the month at Magellan’s on Main (370 W. Main St.). Swing by from 5 to 7 p.m. to try samples and talk to the brewery rep.
Try samples from Lakefront Brewery (3 to 6 p.m.), Public Brewing Company (3 to 6 p.m.), and Bell’s Brewery (3 to 5 p.m.) at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.).

Saturday, May 10
Amorphic Beer (3700 N. Fratney St.) is the site of the Manufacturing Happy Hour Beer Release and Punk Rock Show from 3 to 9 p.m. They’ll be releasing Stay Innovative, Stay Thirsty IPA and there will be plenty of live music throughout the day.
The Tap Yard – West Bend (4875 County Hwy. Z) celebrates its fourth anniversary from 3 to 9 p.m. by tapping some amazing beers from Toppling Goliath and Central Waters Brewing. There are more than a few rarities on the beer list.
Wild Oak BBQ marks its first year in business with a Brews & BBQ party at New Barons Brewing Co-op (2018 S. 1st St.) from 2 to 5 p.m. There will be live music, beer, and barbecue…of course.
Draft & Vessel (7479 Harwood Ave.) hosts a Blessing of the Bock with Lakefront Brewery at 2 p.m.
Women can learn a few martial arts moves at Black Husky Brewing (909 E. Locust St.) from 2 to 3 p.m. The Women and Girls Self-Defense Class is open to those age 12 and older. The class is free, but suggested donations of $10 to $20 are appreciated.
Lion’s Tail Brewing (8520 W. North Ave.) hosts Yoga on Tap at 11 a.m. Cost is $20 and includes a beverage.
Discount Liquor Milwaukee hands out samples from Boulevard Brewing Company from noon to 3 p.m.
Try samples from Revolution Brewing at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 1 to 3 p.m.
Sunday, May 11
Stretch and Sip Yoga is happening at Raised Grain Brewing (1725 Dolphin Dr., Waukesha) at 11 a.m. Cost is $20 for a one-hour yoga session and post-workout beer.
Grilled Cheese Fest comes to The Tap Yard – West Bend from noon to 6 p.m. Five food trucks will be doling out their best renditions of the fantastic sandwich.

Saturday, May 17: Tickets are already on sale for Frothy Forage, a beer, wine and cider tasting event at Riveredge Nature Center (4458 County Hwy. Y, Saukville).
Sunday, May 18: Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) hosts Maifest, a gluten-free food and beer festival, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday, May 31: Lager & Friends comes to Gathering Place. The beer fest is in its seventh year.
Thursday, June 19: Sure, this seems like a while from now, but the New Glarus beer dinner at Tess is already taking reservations. Call 414-964-8377 to make one, because it’s sure to sell out.
