The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave.) has a big two-day party planned to celebrate its 10th anniversary. They’ll be pouring several barrel-aged rarities on Friday and Saturday. Check out the impressive list on the event page.
Brews and Shoes is happening at the Wehr Nature Center (9701 W. College Ave.) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Taste some beers from the Beer Barons of Milwaukee and then snow shoe (or hike if there’s no snow) through nature. Cost is $15 ($13 for Milwaukee County residents and $10 for Friends of Wehr members).
Giant Jones Brewing is taking over the taps at Ray’s Bar (8930 W. North Ave.) from 4 to 10 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 25
Ice Bear Fest, the big winter party at Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.), takes place from noon to 7 p.m. The après ski themed event celebrates the release of Ice Bear Baltic Porter. Wear your best 80s ski gear, because there’s a costume contest that’s part of the festivities.
Black Husky Brewing (909 E. Locust St.) celebrates unity with an Ethnic Potluck at 3:30 p.m. Bring an old family recipe to share that highlights your heritage.
North Pillar Brewing (212 E. North St., Waukesha) celebrates a year in the business with an anniversary party that starts at noon. They’ll have some special releases on tap, food and more.

Wednesday, Jan. 29: MKE Bento comes to 1840 Brewing (342 E. Ward St.) for a pop-up beer dinner. The five-course menu includes beer pairings and costs $100.
Saturday, Feb. 1: Mittenfest is back at Burnhearts! The amazing outdoor event took place at Boone & Crockett last year but returns to its original location.
Sunday, Feb. 2: Black Husky Brewing hosts its third annual Bluegrass Gospel Brunch at noon.
Friday, Feb. 14: Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) loves Valentines Day. As per usual they’ll be hosting weddings and large-scale vow renewals. See the events page for details.
