Sugar Maple (441 E. Lincoln Ave.) is doing its part to raise funds to help in the Stephanie Vetter’s cancer treatment. We Go Together is happening from 5 to 9 p.m. to benefit the wife and family of 1840 Brewing founder Kyle Vetter. All of the proceeds from 1840 Brewing beers sold during that time go to the cause.
The weekly beer release at 1840 Brewing is a crowd favorite, The Cashmere Sweater Double IPA.

Thursday, Dec. 12
Madison’s Giant Jones Brewery is coming to Milwaukee, and kicking things off with a launch party at Sugar Maple from 5 to 9 p.m. Owners Erika Jones and Jessica Jones will be there to talk about their certified organic brewery.
The release party for Lakefront My Turn: Allison, a Scotch ale, is at Stalley Cats (6201 W. Mitchell St.) at 6 p.m.
Try samples from Giant Jones Brewing at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 3 to 5 p.m.
Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) has samples from Hinterland Brewing from 3 to 5 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 13
New Barons Brewing Co-op (2018 S. 1st St.) is releasing Garde Duty, a bière de gard that was created by members as part of the Beer Keep pilot program. It’ll be pouring from 3 to 11 p.m.
The Giant Jones team is also making a stop at Draft & Vessel (7479 Harwood Ave.). They’ll be there at 6 p.m.
Lakefront Brewery is handing out samples at Discount Liquor Milwaukee from 3 to 6 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 14
Amorphic Beer (3700 N. Fratney St.) celebrates three years of business with a party from noon to 10 p.m. They’re pouring several unique beer releases, including a couple of barrel-aged brews. They’ll also have live music and food.
It’s Density Day at Good City Brewing. This year they’re releasing Density Imperial Stout, aged for 24 to 36 months in bourbon barrels, and Density Swirl Imperial Stout, made with cocoa nibs and vanilla beans. They’re also releasing Saber Brut IPA. Preorder is available on Friday. The East Side location (2124 N. Farwell Ave.) opens at 10 a.m. on Density Day, while other Good City locations open at 11 a.m.
Yoga is happening at Lion’s Tail Brewing (8520 W. North Ave.) at 11 a.m. Your ticket earns you a yoga session and a beer when you’re done.
Discount Liquor Milwaukee offers samples from Point Brewery from noon to 3 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 15
More than 20 artisans will be at Lakefront Brewery for Handcrafted: Lakefront Makers Market from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 18: The last Beer School of the year at Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) happens at 6:30 p.m. The subject is barrel-aged beers, and class should fill up quickly. Also, Station No. 06 (6800 W Becher St.) is having its Yule Be Feeling Alright Christmas party at 5 p.m. and they’ll be pouring some great rare beers.
Thursday, Dec. 19: Perspective Brewing (7508 W. Greenfield Ave.) is throwing an ugly sweater party. Members get 50% off of their drinks and a $10 gift card for being there. Non-members get $1 off each beer if they’re sporting an ugly sweater. Oh, there’s also a chili cookoff for charity.
Saturday, Dec. 21: Component Brewing’s Merry Creedmas Party starts at 2 p.m. It includes live music and specials during the unfortunate times when a Creed song is playing.
