Bay View’s ChocoBella has thrown in the storefront towel. The candy store’s owner, Luis Mendez, posted the news on the shop’s Facebook page that the store, at 2257 S. Howell Ave., is no more. And to be sure, the phone number has been disconnected. The store, which specialized in truffles, opened in 2012, but at a different location in Bay View – 2474 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. According to the Facebook post, the chocolates will be available for sale online.
