Unthaw in an igloo at Lake Geneva’s Grand Geneva Resort & Spa.

Eating in an Igloo? Why not? Starting this winter, guests can grab a reservation at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa for their very own igloo dining experience.

Much like Café Benelux’s “Lux Domes,” customers at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa can make reservations to eat in a glamped-out igloo while enjoying all the beauty Wisconsin has to offer without having to bear the elements.

If drinks in an igloo overlooking Wisconsin’s countryside sounds appealing, you’re not alone. Visitors can expect a 90 minute dining experience for a group of up to five guests filled with warm blankets, cocktails, and shared plates for the group, all while underneath the glow of twinkle lights.

There is a stipulation though — guests must make a minimum purchase of $100 to enjoy the snowy experience.

There will be drinks to match the scenery, like peppermint schnapps, hot chocolate and a variety of warm specialty drinks.

The cold can’t stop Wisconsinites from enjoying what our state has to offer. Bundle up, snow bunnies!
