A Few Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee for the Rest of 2024

Happy holidays beer lovers! There are a few events to keep you busy until 2025. Cheers!

Tuesday, Dec. 24

This one is worth the drive. Mars Cheese Castle (2800 W. Frontage Rd., Kenosha) hosts a Bourbon Barrel-Aged Beer and Oyster Brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve. A $20 ticket gets you four oysters and a pour from one of several limited barrel-aged brews on tap.

Saturday, Dec. 28

Havenwood Taproom and Beer Garden (5840 N. 60th St.) is tapping kegs from Cantillon at 2 p.m. Yep, you read that right.

Sunday, Dec. 29

Work off some of your holiday celebrating with Stretch & Sip Yoga at Raised Grain Brewing (1723 Dolphin Dr., Waukesha). Class starts at 11 a.m. and costs $20. Participants get a free beer when the stretching is over.

Drekker Brewing is making the trip from Fargo for Clash of the Craft happening during the Packers/Vikings game at Eagle Park Brewing (S64 W15640, Commerce Center Pkwy., Muskego). Drekker is pouring a few of its great beers and there will be food specials and a raffle.

Tuesday, Dec. 31

New Barons Brewing Co-op (2018 S. 1st St.) is open from 3 to 9 p.m. and will be having a complimentary beer toast at 8 p.m.

Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) celebrates the Swedish New Year with a party from 3 to 7 p.m. The $35 ticket gets you champagne, a free drink, and access to a buffet.

If Sweden isn’t your thing, then head to Component Brewing (2018 S. 1st St.) to celebrate Polish New Year from 1 to 6 p.m. At 5 p.m. there will be a Pierogi Pils toast.

Thursday, Jan. 16: The Library Society meets at Explorium Brewpub’s Third Ward location (143 W. St. Paul Ave.) at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 25: Save a spot for Ice Bear Fest, the big winter party at Third Space Brewing. Details are coming soon.
