In celebration of their 1 Year Anniversary, eclectic nightspot Wherehouse,(818 South Water Street) teamed up with Caitlin Larson’s Tres Chic Productions on Friday December 23rd for a mini runway show that featured original fashion designs from Kia Xiong, as well as a live hair and makeup demonstration on stage by the Beauty Hair Salons editorial team.
As usual with Ms. Larson’s productions, she carefully gathers great looking models, wonderful fashion, and over the top styling by some of the most talented and creative people in Milwaukee to put together a festive evening of fashion and fun.
Also on hand were photographers Ritesh P. Keskar, Abe Van Dyke, and Jonathan Canny who lent the production a feeling of excitement as they snapped the pre-show hair and make up by Beauty, and then later the exciting runway show of Ms. Xiong’s fabulous fashions.
Hair trends from Beauty included up-do’s with lots of volume and ornamentation for the season, plus make up with glimmery, shimmery, eye shadow, and defined crimson lips.
Guests of the event could generously donate toys for TOYS FOR TOTS as well as any canned goods that were given to the HUNGER TASK FORCE. Hunger Task Force believes that every person has a right to adequate food obtained with dignity. Hunger Task Force works to prevent hunger and malnutrition by providing food to people in need today and by promoting social policies to achieve a hunger free community tomorrow.
