“A piercingly funny, twisted “whatever-happens-in-Vegas” caper.” Michael Rechtshaffen, The Hollywood Reporter
“…this is a bromance so primitive it’s practically Bro-Magnon.” Richard Corliss, Time
A growling tiger in the bathroom, a crying baby in the cabinet and a missing groom (Bartha) are just some of the wacky problems the hungover best men wake up to in this consistently uproarious comedy about a Vegas bachelor party gone terribly wrong. Rather than showing the party chronologically, the suave schoolteacher (Cooper), dorky dentist (Helms) and the hilariously stupid bride’s brother (Galifianakis) embark on a madcap detective tale to figure out what happened. Though the premise could allow for lots of off-putting juvenile antics, the film succeeds in simply exuding outrageous fun. There’s nothing thought-provoking about it, but all the perfectly delivered one-liners are just the remedy to this Hangover.
