There was excitement in the air as everyone buzzed about
the long-awaited Fashion Je t’adore show by Tres Chic Productions. It was held at the beautiful Astor Hotel on Thursday, June 28. Guests
arrived to photographers snapping photos of models wearing wedding dresses
by Savvy Bride, and were then ushered to their seats along the
runway. Crystal chandeliers adorned the arched ceilings, and a light pink
glow lit up the walls around the red carpeted runway. The event dripped
elegance!
The emcee for Fashion Je t’adore was Bjorn Nasett of Fashion
Farm Boy (a Milwaukee Magazine community voices blogger). He brought the perfect character and charm as he introduced the show, focusing on the owner of Tres Chic Productions who is a truly remarkable young
woman, Caitlin Larson. This was
her seventh fashion show that she produced entirely – and it didn’t disappoint.
The show began with a bang of music, which got everyone ready to get
their runway walk on. Gowns from Savvy Bride started the show, as everyone
watched in awe as the girls appeared to be floating along the catwalk to the
pit of photographers at the end, camera lights flashing. Featured next were looks by local designer Kelvin Haydon, which are (apparently) growing quite popular. The peek-a-boo mesh designs with bold colors were an eye-popping
combination.

Another amazing local designer featured was teen Chelsea
Stotts of Moda Muneca, who started her line because she felt the need to produce more fashionable, affordable
clothing for women of all sizes.

There was a gasp among the audience when feather jewelry
appeared from Neda Stevic of Shady Lady. The high feathered collar added a
couture shock to your little black dress… a definite must-have for any
fashionista, and I can’t WAIT to get my hands on one!

Head pieces by Donniluchi left me breathless, as I felt I
was watching the models walk right out of the pages of Vogue!

At the conclusion of the show we all walked away beaming, as
we our expectations were exceeded by the wonderful designs. We can’t wait to see what Caitlin Larson has up her fashionable
sleeves for next year, as we all know it will be bigger and better. After all,
it’s what she does best.
