Stephen Colbert Is Utterly Helpless

“My understanding is that you used to be a musician?” Stephen Colbert asks freshman U.S. Rep Mark Pocan, a Democrat from Madison. “How long were you turning tricks?” The Madison congressman’s appearance on Colbert’s “Know a District” segment isn’t as bewildering as Gwen Moore’s recent turn, but it’s still eight minutes and 19 seconds well spent. Also, Colbert asks: “In 1992, you supported a ban on bear wrestling.” Now that’s hardball. Tune in for Pocan’s carefully reasoned response.

“My understanding is that you used to be a musician?” Stephen Colbert asks freshman U.S. Rep Mark Pocan, a Democrat from Madison. “How long were you turning tricks?”

The Madison congressman’s appearance on Colbert’s “Know a District” segment isn’t as bewildering as Gwen Moore’s recent turn, but it’s still eight minutes and 19 seconds well spent.
