You did the colored denim thing for spring and summer. Ready for another denim makeover? Kick it up a notch this fall with printed denim. I’ve been waiting for the trend to hit Milwaukee and I am happy to report I spotted a lovely young fashionista in the Third Ward last weekend sporting a floral pair from Anthropologie.I tracked her down at (shoo) and made her pose for me. A friend of mine also scored a great ikat printed pair on sale a few weeks ago at Anthropologie. Serendipitously, I stopped into Urban Outfitters on the East Side and sighed in delight at the rows and stacks of printed denim neatly stacked in the store. If you are unsure, pair printed denim with a solid white, black or denim shirt and you can’t go wrong.
