“…a more satiric bite than any of the other Saw sequels.” Roger Moore, Orlando Sentinel

“Terrible acting, zero suspense, laughable logic…” Robert Abele, Los Angeles Times

Though the Saw series’ sadistic killer John “Jigsaw” Kramer (Bell) died several sequels ago, he unfortunately lives on in this gory horror franchise that also should’ve died a long time ago. Through an overload of repetitive flashbacks and fantasy sequences Jigsaw is back, and now is torturing a corporate head of an insurance company (Outerbridge). While I give credit to this sixth installment for trying to develop an actual plot − especially one that critiques the weighty issue of the health care crisis, the storyline still winds up jumbled and too preachy. If you’re not a fan of the sadistic Saw series, skip it; yet, it’s also not quite scary enough for its hard-core fans.
