The much-anticipated Brewhouse Inn & Suites (1215 N. 10th St.) is scheduled to open next Thursday, April 25. Mark Zierath – co-owner of Jackson’s Blue Ribbon Pub on 113th and Blue Mound – has announced the opening date of the second Jackson’s Pub he and his brother Dan are opening at the 90-room hotel, located on the grounds of the former Pabst Brewing Co. D-Day is Monday, May 24. The menu is pretty straightforward, including a local sausage and cheese plate, wings and jalapeno poppers, Caesar salad and barbecued chicken pizza, burgers, PBR-braised chicken with kraut, barbecued ribs and Wiener Schnitzel, and lots more. Expected hours of operation: Mon-Sat from 11:00 a.m.; Sunday from 10 a.m.
