Neighborhood Street Style- Bay View

On a crisp summer night, I went to find where all the coolest kids in Bay View hang out – Chill on the Hill. This free outdoor concert series is one of the many that allow Milwaukeeans to get out and enjoy their county parks during the summer. Bay View is known for its eclectic mix of residents. This free outdoor concert series is one of the many that allow Milwaukeeans to get out and enjoy their county parks during the summer.

Bay View is known for its eclectic mix
of residents. Hipsters there were a’plenty. But also kids, bikers, mature
adults and mommas. Though I wouldn’t necessarily call this motley crowd trendy,
there were a few of the season’s best trends represented: nautical stripes,
colored denim and plaid shirts. Self-expression was certainly in its fullest
form. From tattoos covering people’s bodies to tees representing a favorite Milwaukee institution, the Bay View crowd is proud and loyal. There were
also a lot of hats – from the fedora, to the cowboy hat and the newsie.

It’s time to show and not
tell so see the photos below for a taste of Bay View fashion.
