  • If you’ve been following the local trial of the man accused of abusing his five daughters, the trial has finally concluded and he was found guilty of 31 felony charges. Calling the man an “evil, sadistic, controlling” monster, the judge sentenced him to life in prison.
  • Amazon.com is earning billions and billions of dollars – but only slim profits. “This isn’t supposed to happen,” says economist and venture capitalist William Janeway. 
  • Yesterday a Nevada preteen boy shot and killed his math teacher before killing himself. He shot two other boys, but both are in stable condition. 
  • Kim Kardashian is officially betrothed to Kanye West after West proposed in San Francisco stadium filled with family and friends, fireworks and a 50-piece orchestra.

In 2014, she won the the Milwaukee Press gold award for best public service story for editing "Handle With Care," a service package about aging in Milwaukee. Before all this, she attended the University of Missouri's School of Journalism and New York University's Summer Publishing Institute.
