- Milwaukee police conducted a gun buyback Saturday, and WISN 12 has the details. But as the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports, the weekend still brought several shootings, at least two of which were fatal.
- Brazil hasn’t even started hosting the World Cup yet, and already, there are big concerns about its ability to pull off the 2016 Summer Olympics. Unless, of course, they create the brand-new event of Sewer Sailing. The New York Times has more.

- Now that the sale of the Milwaukee Bucks has been approved by the NBA, new owners Marc Lasry and Wesley Edens can start doing official things. Over the weekend, they posted a letter on Bucks.com promising the “beginning of a long-lasting partnership with the City of Milwaukee, surrounding communities and the State of Wisconsin.”
