  • The streetcar has brought about the latest duel between the fighting Bobs (that’s Ald. Bob Donovan – who is opposed to the project – and Ald. Bob Bauman, a major supporter), but a Common Council vote on the project likely won’t happen until January, says the Journal Sentinel. 
  • One Fond du Lac County man is dead after his homemade meat smoker exploded, says the Post-Crescent.
  • In the spring, the state created a mental health board to help Milwaukee County solve its expansive mental health care issues. That board has yet to meet, and some of its members are unsure of the board’s efficacy without any actual staff members to perform the heavy lifting of research and analysis.
  • Jeb Bush, brother of George W. and former governor of Florida, announced this morning that he is “actively” exploring a potential presidential run.
