- State Supreme Court Justice Patience Roggensack cruised to a second term on the bench, squashing Marquette University law professor Ed Fallone in Tuesday’s election, according to the Journal Sentinel.

- On Wednesday, Rockwell Automation, a Milwaukee-based industrial manufacturer, announced that it had increased its number of board of directors to 10 and added a pair of new members, reports the Business Journal.
- Rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z announced Tuesday that he was starting his own sports agency, adding to his stable of entertainment-related businesses, writes the New York Times.
- North Korea is – once again – making the wrong kind of headlines. According to USAToday.com, the unruly Asian nation on Wednesday was refusing to allow South Korean workers to enter a jointly run factory park just over the Northern border.
