Milwaukee Airwaves

Wedding DJs have somehow gotten a bad rap. While most Disc Jockeys that I’ve worked with are professional in appearance and performance, most couples are terrified that they are going to end up with someone who is more concerned with leading a conga line around the dance floor than in taking a more “behind the scenes” approach to keeping their party rocking. And although everyone is looking for something unique and special, a resonating theme with clients of mine is the aversion to anything “cheesy” which means keeping the Chicken Dance on the no-play list where it belongs.

Enter Milwaukee Airwaves. Realizing that the music industry was evolving, Ramsey Renno left his former DJ company and started Milwaukee Airwaves in 2011. Using his sixteen years of experience in the industry he built Milwaukee Airwaves to offer brides and grooms experience and professionalism at a price to meet a budget. Meeting Ramsey it was hard to overlook the energy and excitement he has for both his company and the music industry in general. Even if you are looking for a DJ to simply provide the music and stay off of the mic, it’s still so important to have a DJ like Ramsey whose energetic personality will resonate with guests and draw them in to bust a move on the dance floor.

Everyone is looking for something unique to make their wedding day special and that should hold true for the music as well. Do you ever feel as though you can go to five different weddings with five different DJs and they all have the same playlist? Of course there will always be some overlap of top 40 hits and all time classics but you should still personalize your playlists with your personality. Milwaukee Airwaves puts their focus on the music. Ramsey and his DJs meet with each of their clients to create personalized playlists that help to determine the couples own music style preferences. Understanding the clients on a more personal level also allows Ramsey to use his past experience to build upon their suggestions while still keeping the client’s musical presence in the forefront. He assured me that he has a music library with various tracks that no other DJs in town are playing. Cheers to that!
