I might not be able to explain the difference between a crankshaft and a carburetor (or tell you what they are, for that matter), but I can tell you where to find some pretty sweet ones this weekend. And, I can get you in for free!
Rev up for the Greater Milwaukee Auto Show opening this weekend and running though March 6 at the Frontier Airlines Center (400 W. Wisconsin Ave.) Visit this link and post a comment (a nice one, please) for a chance to win a pair of tickets.
See hundreds of the latest cars, crossovers, trucks and more. This is the auto industry’s chance to show off its best and brightest, often before they are released to the public. New technology like alternative fuel vehicles as well as popular TV and movie cars will also be on display. Stroll the expanse while you gaze at cars, free of the vexing salesman pressure.
Are you a serious roadie or in the market for a new set of wheels? You will have the chance to take a peek under the hood and even test drive new cars like the Chevrolet Silverado, Buick Enclave, GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid and more. A few interesting and sexy models to look out for are the plug-in electric Chevrolet Volt, the 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 (pictured) and the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible.
Or maybe you are more of just a cinema/music buff like me – check out iconic cars in cinema history like the DeLorean from Back to the Future, the original Batmobile from the “Batman” TV series and Doc Hudson from CARS. There will also be a Summerfest stage on Sat., March 5, featuring popular local bands. And you can’t have an auto fest in Milwaukee without including some Harleys, so the Harley-Davidson Museum is returning to the show with unusual vehicles, artifacts and images from Harley-Davidson’s rich history.
If you need any more reason to go, each attendee receives one free entry for the chance to win a 1969 Calypso Coral High Performance Boss 302 (only 46 were produced) and a matching special edition 2012 Boss 302. This is the world’s only pair of matching first and second generation Boss 302 Mustangs. Even I know that’s a pretty hot deal.
