Facebook Dustup Gets Worse

Some heavy reporting is going into the coverage of State Rep. Christine Sinicki’s (D-Milwaukee) Facebook post that Gov. Scott Walker’s State of the State address was “full of shit.” Even Mary Burke has been interviewed, and she was a mite chastising. “I think people should make their own decisions,” she said, upon further questioning by the Journal Sentinel. “It’s certainly something that I would have apologized for.” Sinicki has not shrunk from Facebook. Sinicki has not shrunk from Facebook. She’s keeping the line open and responded thusly to the above comment:

It’s no secret that I am supporting Mary Burke, but thanks for throwing me under the bus without taking the time to talk to me. About it.

And Sinicki just posted:

For the record, since last night I have had about 200 friend requests, every time there is a news report I get a bunch more.

There’s no question that coverage in your local metro daily is a boon for SEO. Nearly all of the replies to Sinicki’s updates are supportive, though she refers in some to receiving a number of unfriendly comments from Walker supporters.

Walker himself said his first reaction to the “full of shit” accusation was to laugh.
