Drama for the Spice Girls

Most of us were thrilled to hear the rumors that The Spice Girls would be performing at the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony, but as of lately it seems that rumor may be quickly fading. A source close to the group is saying that Mel B is being quite the diva. “She wants her friends and family flown from all over to see the gig and wants them to have backstage access. And her rider, which includes a demand for a personal stylist to be flown wherever she goes, is ridiculous.” While it would be amazing to see the superstar group finally come together again, I think Mel’s demands are a little much. Apparently Mel isn’t the only one being a diva. Sources are also saying that Posh, (Victoria Beckham) is only set on playing “important gigs” such as the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert! Ginger Spice, aka Geri Halliwell is telling people “None of us can understand why she won’t take advantage of these opportunities. Now is the time to be together again as a band and she and Mel B can’t be in the same room together.” Ouch! Hopefully the ladies can resolve their issues before the end of the Olympics, because we all want to hear them “Spice up our Lives!”
