Copycat White Sox

As part of opening day 2012, the Chicago White Sox announced they would be adding an attraction: a 7th-inning stretch race with members of the 1972 team. There are four. Their costumes are tall and oval-like. Sound familiar? If it sounds a lot like the famous Sausage Race at Miller Park, that was intentional. A member of the Sox’ public relations staff told WGN News the Brewers should be flattered by the imitation. Think the tradition will catch on in the Windy City?
