My Milwaukee Magazine comrades and I offer our daily Morning Links column, a hodgepodge of must-reads to consume before starting the weekday. Café at the Plaza offers its own version of Morning Links, in the form of corned beef hash, vanilla malt French toast, a Breakfast club sandwich, buckwheat ricotta pancakes, and much more. The café, which serves breakfast and lunch every day, is sporting two new hires –  chef Earl Brooks and general manager Amanda Ridout (former sales and events manager at Madison’s HotelRED). No menu changes are planned right now. But you may see some evening hours for the cafe at some point in the future. Meantime, check out the breakfast menu here. Hours: daily 7 a.m.-2 p.m. (1007 N. Cass St., 414-272-0515).
