Holey Moley Coffee + Doughnuts (316 N. Milwaukee St.) isn’t the only Third Ward business with fried pastries on its mind. Doughnuts are in the works at C. Adams Bakery in Milwaukee Public Market (400 N. Water St.). Owner Lisa Crum plans to debut her line in October (the date pushed from late August). Among the kinds of doughnuts she’s working on are a Berliner and a bomboloni (small Italian filled doughnut). Until October, you can assuage your pastry craving with Crum’s cinnamon morning bun.

Speaking of doughnuts, have you been to Holey Moley? Here’s the fried skinny on that business, courtesy of the Sept. issue of Milwaukee Magazine.
