Time is running out to secure your reservation for the latest (and perhaps, greatest) Best Of Milwaukee Beer Dinner on Tuesday, Sept. 30. The meal is a five-course affair, helmed by chefs from Odd Duck (Ross Bachhuber and Dan Jacobs), Hinterland (Dan Van Rite), Sanford (Justin Aprahamian), Blue Jacket (Matt Kerley), and Goodkind (Lisa Kirkpatrick and Paul Zerkel). The chefs will be tearing up the kitchen at Odd Duck (2352 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.), which means that is also the setting for this event. Dan Jacobs was kind enough to share what he and Bachhuber plan to make: Polish sausage with sauerkraut pierogi, apple puree, celery root salad and apple cider gastrique, paired with Hinterland Oktoberfest. Cost: $95 per person. 6 p.m. reception; 7 p.m. dinner. Call 414-763-5881 for a res.
