Ever-growing Bartolotta Restaurant Group just announced that it will open two new restaurants by September of this year. The new locations are in Mequon and Greendale, expanding the empire’s reach north and south. Both restaurants will serve supper club fare, the restaurant group says, and will feature a bar dispensing craft beer, “value-oriented” wines and ice cream drinks. The Greendale joint, in the former Harmony Inn (5601 Broad St.), will be a 200-seater, with a projected opening of late August. The Mequon restaurant, taking over The Riversite’s old digs (11120 W, Cedarburg Rd.), will have a 130-seat dining room. Both restos will be open for dinner and Sunday brunch. Adam Siegel, the James Beard Award-winner and long-time Bartolotta executive chef, will extend his reach to seemingly impossible lengths by overseeing the culinary crew for these establishments. No word yet on the names of the planned enterprises. More details to follow.
