The arrival of tacos to Downer Avenue is so close. BelAir Cantina Downer (2625 N. Downer Ave.) officially opens on Monday, Oct. 6. It’s the third BelAir location for the business partners, two of whom also operate Hi Hat Lounge, Balzac and Fuel Café. BelAir Downer has taken charge of the old VIA Downer space. The menu, if you haven’t been to the East Side (Humboldt Avenue) or Tosa restaurants, includes tamales and nachos, burritos and fajitas ($2.39-$16.91) Hours-to-be: Mon-Fri 11 a.m.-midnight; Sat-Sun 10 a.m.-midnight.
