The folks at Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. in Bay View (2920 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.) are in possession of a pizza oven – a beautiful red-tiled brick oven. And they’re going to start offering ‘za tomorrow night, Nov. 11 (4:30-9 p.m.)! When they moved their coffee roaster to the new space in Walker’s Point, the Bay View location “felt really quiet,” says co-owner Lacee Perry. “The buzz and movement we had felt was gone.” Perry and husband/partner Matt McClutchy took their time researching before purchasing their Neapolitan brick oven (from the master of brick ovens, Stefano Ferrara). They’re offering 9-10 menu options, including margherita, and a beet-goat cheese pie. You can also build your own. Prices will be in the neighborhood of $9-$13. For the time being, pizzas (again, only at the Bay View location) are served Tues-Sat 4:30-9 p.m. Carry-out available.
