Get creative at Indeed Brewing Company (530 S. 2nd St.) at the Pour Your Own Epoxy workshop from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. You’ll get to make a cool wooden charcuterie board or lazy Susan with epoxy accents. Cost to participate is $179.
1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.) is hosting a taco cooking class from 7 to 9 p.m. Cost is just $55.
The first Beer School of the year at Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) examines winter warmers.
Thursday, Jan. 16
The Library Society meets at Explorium Brewpub’s Third Ward location (143 W. St. Paul Ave.) at 7 p.m. They’ll be sampling a few cellared Explorium beers.
Busby’s (3475 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.), with some help from Young Blood Beer Company, is having a chili cook-off from 7 to 9 p.m. Young Blood is taking over a few of the taps and a $5 suggested donation for chili tasting benefits Hunger Task Force.
Friday, Jan. 17
Havenwoods Taproom & Beer Garden (5840 N. 60th St.) hosts RDWHAHB (Relax Don’t Worry Have a Home Brew): The Delta Between Home and Commercial Brewing at 6 p.m. Amorphic Beer founder Ron Hockersmith will give a presentation on home brewing and answer questions afterward.
Saturday, Jan. 18
Broken Bat Brewing (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.) is releasing Green Light, a cream ale made in collaboration with Milwaukee Bucks guard A.J. Green. He’ll be at the brewery from 7 to 9 p.m.
New Barons Brewing Co-op is pouring beer at the Fox Point Winter Beer Garden at Longacre Skating Pavilion (7343 N. Longacre Rd.) from noon to 7 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 19
The Lakefront Makers Market returns to Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. More than 20 vendors will be there.
