Tickets include food, beverages and a number of other activities.

2. Briggs & Al’s Run & Walk

SUNDAY | VIRTUAL

This weekend kicks off the annual Briggs & Al’s Run & Walk, one of Wisconsin’s longest-running fundraising events. Only this year it’s virtual. Through Sept. 18, participants can participate in step challenges, fun-runs and win prizes to benefit Children’s Wisconsin, Milwaukee’s nationally-ranked children’s hospital.

3. Milwaukee Taco Fest

SUNDAY | 200 N. HARBOR DR.

Can you think of anything better? The Taco Fest will showcase the best of Milwaukee’s taco scene. Try tacos from all over the city, as well as margaritas, cervezas and hot sauces. To fit different preferences, there will be two different sessions for lunch and dinner. As if tacos weren’t enough, live music and entertainment will accompany the event. Proceeds will benefit the Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Foundation and Rescue Gang.

4. Milwaukee Brewfest

SATURDAY | MCKINLEY PARK

Brewfest is back! More than 100 local and national breweries are participating, and brewfest keeps announcing new taps. Enjoy the beauty of Lake Michigan while sipping your favorite beverage. Delicious food vendors will offer attendees cheese curds, soft pretzels and tacos, to name a few. The gates open at 3 p.m., unless you have a VIP pass.

5. Puerto Rican Family Festival

At Milwaukee’s eighth annual Puerto Rican Family Festival, there will be no shortage of things to do. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., El Conquistador, a Latino newspaper, will celebrate Puerto Rican culture, traditions and history at Wilson Park. Along with live music and comedy performances, there will be a car show and a tostones eating contest, among other things.

6. EAA AirVenture Oshkosh
