Milwaukee’s only baseball-themed brewery seems like the ideal spot to watch the playoffs. Broken Bat Brewery (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.) is upping the ante by offering $12 pitchers are $4 mug club pours during every Milwaukee Brewers playoff game. First pitch of tonight’s NLDS game is late – 9 p.m.
Sanford (1547 N. Jackson St.) is bringing some class to the traditional beer dinner. The five-course Belgian beer dinner begins with a reception at 6 p.m. and costs $185. Make a reservation by calling 414-276-9608.
Thursday, Oct. 8
Zoo Brew returns to the Milwaukee County Zoo (10005 W. Bluemound Rd.) with plenty of area breweries and food vendors. Tickets start at $60.
Grab a spot at the Saz’s/Eagle Park Brewing beer dinner at South Second (838 S. Second St.). The decadent five-course dinner starts at 6 p.m. and includes six Eagle Park beers. Tickets are $105.
Friday, Oct. 9
Our Lady of Lourdes (3722 S. 58th St.) is going big with its three-day Oktoberfest celebration. The hours are 4 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday. There will be a beer garden, live music, cake walks and, on Saturday and Sunday, an artisan fair.
Lion’s Tail Brewing (8520 W. North Ave., Wauwatosa) is releasing Mo’ Juice, a hazy IPA that hasn’t been brewed since 2022.
Saturday, Oct. 10
The annual Limb Shaker Day is coming to both Gathering Place Brewing locations (811 E. Vienna Ave. and 7208 W. North Ave., Wauwatosa) from noon to 10 p.m. The guest of honor is Limb Shaker, a Belgian-style tripel made with Door County cherries. Previous vintages will also be on tap.
The Brookfield location of Vennture Brew Co. (2790 N. Brookfield Rd.) is throwing an Ok Toberfest party to celebrate all things German.
Draft & Vessel (4417 N. Oakland Ave., Shorewood) celebrates 12 years of business with an all-day party. They’ll be pouring some special beers and offering up free food from 5 to 7 p.m.
Torzala Brewing is pouring beer at the two-day Oktoberfest at the Bayside Beer Garden in Ellsworth Park (600 E. Ellsworth Ln.). Hours are 1 to 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
It’s Faktoberfest at Faklandia Brewing (3807 S. Packard Ave., Cudahy). They’ll have German food to pair with the release of their Faktoberfest Oktoberfest beer.
Try samples of a Belgian beer legend – Duvel – at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from noon to 3 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 11
The Handcrafted Fest of Ale is happening at Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be vendors, live music, gluten-free curds and beer, and more.
Half Acre Brewing and Central Waters Brewing are both headed to Station No. 06 (6800 W. Becher St., West Allis) for the Cheesy Chicago Dog Beer Battle, which starts at 11 a.m. and coincides with a little football matchup between the the Packers and Bears.

Saturday, Oct. 17: Havenwoods Taproom & Beer Garden hosts the Third Annual Beer Trail Invitational from 1 to 6 p.m. More than 30 breweries will be pouring nearly 100 beers for you to sample. Tickets start at $50.
Saturday, Oct. 17: The Oktoberfest season wraps up with Mobtoberfest at MobCraft (505 S. Fifth St.) at 11 a.m. The sausage-sculpting competition is reason enough to be there.
