CULVER’S UNVEILED the CurderBurger Friday, but it’s only available for one day. If this limited-time offer has sparked your appetite for the unmatchable taste of curd on burger, then here’s a few area restaurants that serve their own year-round.
1. Milwaukee Burger Company
6421 S. 27TH ST., FRANKLIN
This one’s filed under the “Oozing With Wisconsin Burgers” category of the Milwaukee Burger Company menu. The Cheese Curd Cheeseburger has provolone cheese, burger co. sauce and a couple classic cheese curds on top.
2. Crafty Cow
2675 KINNICKINNIC AVE.
The aptly named Cheesehead burger is stuffed with five cheeses and topped with bacon, cheese curds and cheese sauce. (You can also add Mac and Cheese for two extra dollars).
3. North Avenue Grill
7225 W. NORTH AVE.
You have to pay a little extra to curd-this one up, but we think it’s worth it. The B.Y.O.B. burger comes with cheese, lettuce, onion and tomato and you can load it up with additional toppings, like cheese curds, bacon, haystack onions, a fried egg and more for $1.50 each.

The Wisconsin Burger honors our state with red peppers, cheddar cheese, chipotle ranch and cheese curds on top of a beef patty.
6. Golden Nest Pancakes and Café

Take a big ol’ half-pound slab of Angus beef, slap it on a brioche roll and top with fried cheese curds, lettuce, tomato and a slice of American cheese, and you got yourself Golden Nest’s Wisconsin Burger.
7. LeDuc’s Frozen Custard

Looking for a cheese curd burger? Well, you’re in LeLuck. (I apologize). The LeDuc’s Topper has white cheddar cheese curds, onion rings and barbecue sauce.
