6 Beer Events Brewing This Week in Milwaukee: July 1-5

There are a lot of beer releases in Milwaukee this week.

Wednesday, July 1

The Sprecher Pass Me a Pint Tour lands at Kletzsch Park (6560 N. Milwaukee River Pwky.) until July 19. Hours are 5 to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Vennture Brew Co. releases Bonilla Money, a double New England IPA hopped with with Sabro, Mosaic and Strata. That name? July 1 is the day slugger Bobby Bonilla, who hasn’t played a big league game since 1999, gets $1.19 million from the New York Mets – as he will will every July 1 until 2035 due to one of the weirdest contract buyouts in sports history.

Thursday, July 2

The Raised Grain Pop-Up Beer Garden comes to Muskego Park (S83 W20370 Janesville Rd.) for the weekend. Hours are 4 to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 3 to 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Try a few taps from Untitled Art at The Brass Tap (7808 W. Layton Ave.) from 5 to 11 p.m.

Friday, July 3

Eagle Park Muskego (S64 W15640 Commerce Center Pkwy.) is releasing two new beers perfect for the Fourth of July weekend. Get to Muskego between noon and 7 p.m. to pick up Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Sour Ale and Bomb Pop Slush Overfruited Sour Ale. If beer isn’t your thing, they’ll also have a Watermelon Lime Hard Seltzer available.

Hacienda Beer Co. (2018 E. North Ave.) has a pair of beers from its oak-aged mixed fermentation program available all weekend, starting at noon on Friday. Be The Change is a foeder fermented saison made with Door County cherries (sales benefit the Milwaukee Freedom Fund), and L’ete 2020 is a dry hopped foeder fermented saison.

Lagers are perfect for summer drinking. Gathering Place Brewing (811 E. Vienna Ave.) is releasing The Gegenpress Dortmund Lager. Place your online orders on July 3 or head to the brewery on July 4 to get yours.
