3 New Things Coming to Milwaukee This September

A new ring from Cival Collective is just one of the exciting new things this month.

1. Cival Collective’s The Diana

This bejeweled beauty was designed by Cival’s Nina Palacio to be a custom engagement ring for local artist Diana Chu. Now, the ring is available as a ready-to-wear piece on shopcival.com

2. Buffalo Nichols’ The Fatalist

Local blues and folk musician Buffalo Nichols’ new album, The Fatalist, comes out Sept. 15. And mark your calendar now, because he’s playing a hometown show at Turner Hall on Nov. 10.

3. Dry Land by B. Pladek

A young man in the Wisconsin Northwoods discovers his gift to grow any plant with his touch. He shares this secret only with his love – and when the two men are drafted to fight in World War I, he realizes his gift may actually be a curse. The novel is out Sept. 26.
