The winners will be announced on June 5.

The James Beard Foundation is back in the news. The organization just announced the nominees for the 2023 awards and a couple of Milwaukee restaurants are in contention.

Lupi & Iris – co-owned by James Beard Award-winning chef Adam Siegel –  is up for Best New Restaurant. Open since May 2022, the spot inspired by the French and Italian rivieras is featured in our Top 25 Restaurants feature (March 2023). You can read more about it in this August 2022 dining review.
