Knock Your Bocks Off is the theme of this installment of Beer School at Third Space Brewing (1505 d. St. Paul Ave.). Learn from brewmaster Kevin Wright from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Cost is just $30.
Tess Restaurant (2499 N. Bartlett Ave.) has a pair of beer dinners with More Brewing on Wednesday and Thursday. Call 414-964-8377 to reserve a spot.
The weekly release at 1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.) is Erik B & Rakau, an imperial IPA.
A Women’s Month tap takeover at Station No. 06 (6801 W. Becher St.) starts at 5 p.m. Six breweries will be pouring and the event benefits Sojourner Family Peace Center.

Explorium Brewpub (315 N. Plankinton Ave.) is having a wild ales release party. Where the Wild Ales Are starts at 4:30 p.m. and includes free tasting flights and the chance to buy cans of the funky stuff.
The Women’s Beer and Spirits Collective hosts a bake raffle at Sugar Maple (441 E. Lincoln Ave.) at 5 p.m. They’ll also be raffling beer swag from participating breweries. It all benefits Sojourner Family Peace Center.
Try samples from Hinterland Brewing (3 to 5 p.m.) and Camba Bavaria (3 to 6 p.m.) at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 3 to 5 p.m.

Chouffe (2 to 5 p.m.) and Founders Brewing (3 to 5 p.m.) are offering samples at Discount Liquor Milwaukee.
Try beers from MobCraft at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 3 to 5 p.m.
Saturday, March 30
The 6th annual Sour Fest is happening at MobCraft (505 S. 5th St.). Sample sours from MobCraft and a slew of other great Wisconsin breweries. The VIP session ($65) runs from noon to 3 p.m. Two general admission ($50) sessions are from 1 to 3 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.
Component Brewing (2018 S. 1st St.) celebrates its second anniversary in its larger location in the Lincoln Warehouse. There will be food, live music, and several beer releases.
The month cribbage tournament at Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) is cool and all, but the fact that Half Acre Beer Co. is there makes it that much better. Play from starts at 2 p.m. and includes deals on Half Acre brews.
The Riverwest Pop-Up Farmers Market is happening at Amorphic Beer from noon to 3 p.m.
Enlightened Brewing (2020 S. Allis St.) is hosting the Milwaukee Record Show from noon to 5 p.m.
Hacienda Beer Co. (2018 E. North Ave.) is releasing Empires of the Mind, a hazy IPA.

April 6: Urban Harvest Brewing (1024 S. 5th St.) marks its eighth anniversary with three beer releases and a party from 1 to 8 p.m. Broken Bat Brewing (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.) celebrates seven years by releasing a pair of beers and offering free food. Yep.
April 7: Best Place (917 W. Juneau Ave.) host Pours for Parks, a beer fest with more than 20 local standout breweries. Tickets start at $60.
April 13: The annual release of Doughnut Don, Vennture Brew Co.’s imperial stout, happens at noon.
April 20: Eagle Park Brewing (S64 W15640 Commerce Center Pkwy., Muskego) has its popular Joint Beer Fest coming up. Get tickets early, because the annual beer fest draws a crowd.
April 24: Third Space’s Beer School covers the topic of beer and cheese.
April 27: There are only 100 tickets to the Spring Beer Fest at The Landing at Hoyt Park (1800 N. Swan Blvd.). Plan ahead if you want to go.
