Working Draft Beer Company takes over the taps at Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) from 4 to 10 p.m. Smoke Ring food truck will be there too.
The weekly beer release at 1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.) is 6 Years of Slow Beer, a saison aged in oak barrels with lime and Wakatu hops added.
Paint & Sip is happening at The Tap Yard – Menomonee Falls (W220 N7884 Town Line Rd.). For $30 you get the supplies and instruction on how to paint a Paris scene.

Milwaukee Brewer Joey Wiemer is stepping behind the bar for a celebrity bartending stint at Broken Bat Brewing (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.). He’ll be there from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 25
New Barons Brewing Co-op is releasing a pair of bottled Mexican lagers and bringing in the Tacos La Fiera food truck. The fiesta happens from 5 to 9 p.m.
Emmitt James is coming to Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) to celebrate his 10 years in music. Emmitt James’ 10 Year Big Band BBQ is happening from 7 to 11 p.m. It includes free entry, free barbecue and live music. Attendees are encouraged to donate to the MPS Foundation’s Classroom Support Fund.
1840 Brewing Company’s Beer Garden Road Show makes a stop at Riverside Park (700 Kilbourn Ave., West Bend) from 4 to 9 p.m.
Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) has samples from Lagunitas Brewing and Eagle Park Brewing from 3 to 5 p.m.
Central Waters Brewing is handing out samples at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 3 to 5 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 26
Brown, Black & Brews is happening at Pilot Project Brewing (1128 N. 9th St.) from 1 to 4 p.m. Try beers from Brown- and Black-owned breweries from around the country. Tickets start at $50. Expect a pop-up shop and Radio Milwaukee’s Tarik Moody providing music.
Amorphic Beer is bringing its beverages to a pop-up beer garden at Field Park (933 N. Rochester St., Mukwonago) from 2 to 8 p.m.
The Dandelion Daze Brew Run is a 5K that begins and ends at Veterans Memorial Park (W182 S8175 Racine Ave., Muskego). Runners 21 and older will have a beer waiting for them at the finish line. Cost is $40 until the day of the race. Packet pickup is from 2 to 2:45 p.m. and the run starts at 3 p.m.
A clothing swap is going on at Gathering Place Brewing (7208 W. North Ave.) from noon to 4 p.m. The event is free, but it’s a good idea to sign up beforehand. Check out all the details on the Eventbrite page.
