1. Milwaukee Bucks Fan Appreciation Night
FRIDAY AT 7 P.M. | FISERV FORUM
The Milwaukee Bucks are teaming up with Clover to create a Clover All-Access Pass Sweepstakes for fan appreciation night. One fan will win two tickets to every event at the Fiserv Forum for a full year. Fans attending the game against the Brooklyn Nets can enter the sweepstakes by scanning their in-seat QR code. In addition to the sweepstakes, the first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a Bango Bobblehead. A special $20 ticket offer is available here.
2. Beneath the Surface
ALL WEEKEND 11 A.M. TO 6 P.M. | LILY PAD WEST
It’s the last weekend to experience Colette Odya Smith’s “Beneath the Surface.” Smith is a Wisconsin native and internationally recognized master pastelist known for her landscape work. The gallery showcases soft pastels layered over watercolor underpaintings revealing what she calls “the mysteries and miracles lying in plain sight.”
3. A Rockin’ Midsummer Night’s Dream
FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AT VARIOUS TIMES | SKYLIGHT MUSIC THEATRE
The Skylight Music Theatre and UW-Milwaukee Department of Theatre have come together for their first ever collaboration. The show is a fresh take on William Shakespeare’s comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream, blending classic storytelling with rock-and-roll. Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office.

4. 80’s Mixology Night

Put on your neon and tease your hair up high for this 80’s-themed mixology night. Joey and Jenni from Buckets Pub will lead the class in making for fun cocktails and Chef Tyler will provide a perfectly paired bite to go along with each. Individual tickets are $50 and couples tickets are $85.
5. 99 to 100 Celebration: Comedy Edition

Story Hill FireHouse is kicking off their 99th year celebrations series with a night of comedy hosted by Dame Grant and Chris Barnes. Grant, a stand-up comedian, actor and writer known for his sharp, dynamic storytelling, is opening for Milwaukee-native Barnes who has shared the stage with comedy legends across the midwest. A $25 ticket to the event includes your first drink – buy before Thursday to get two tickets at the price of one. This event is 21+ only.

7. Play Date With Art: Magic Collage
FRIDAY FROM 10 A.M.-NOON | MILWAUKEE ART MUSEUM
Get inspired by the mysterious work of Gertrude Abercrombie and create a collage using stencils and layers. After getting creative with collage making, a sing-along will be held from 10:30 to 11:15. The Play Date with Art program is designed for children ages five and under and is included with Museum admission.
8. Scout Gallery presents “Plant Sale” Exhibition Opening

The Scout Gallery’s newest exhibition “Plant Sale” opens up this Friday featuring plant-themed art by 13 artists. The show focuses on how plants bring life into our homes and make us feel human. There will be potted houseplants available for sale during the show and admission is free.
9. Beats & Baile: A Salsa Social

DJ Saffiro is mixing salsa, bachata, cumbia, pop and hip-hop for a night of dancing. With over 15 years of experience, Saffiro mixes cultural authenticity with modern club energy. This event starts with a salsa lesson led by Karlies Kelley-Vedula, the owner of Panadanza Dance Company. Tickets are $25 each and this event is 18+. ID’s will be checked at the door and anyone 21+ will receive a wrist band.
10. Cello Madness 2026

Milwaukee’s annual Cello Madness event is back at Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. The live performance celebrates everything that makes the Cello special. This year, The Belle Weather and Cel Canto are hosted by MSO cellist, Peter J Thomas. Tickets are $15 when purchased online in advance or $20 at the door. This event is suitable for all ages.
11. Vegetable Gardens for Beginners
SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M.-11:30 P.M. | LYNDEN SCULPTURE GARDEN
If you’ve wanted to start a vegetable garden and felt overwhelmed by the process, this is the perfect event to attend this weekend. Alyx Christensen, a member of the Lynden’s land team, will lead the class in designing a master plan for a 4 x 4-foot garden bed. The class will cover techniques like companion planting, intercropping and more. Guests are encouraged to bring questions and ideas to class and all planning materials will be provided. You can register online with a $20 fee for non-members and a $17 fee for members.
12. Industrial Atmospheres LEGO Workshop
SATURDAY FROM 12 P.M. TO 4 P.M. | GROHMANN MUSEUM
LEGO experts and art educators John and Sylvia Peine will lead a workshop inspired by the Grohmann Museum’s current exhibit Industrial Atmospheres at the 11th annual LEGO building event. Builds will include heavy machinery, factories and vibrant colors and completed builds will be placed on display. All skill levels are welcome! The workshop is included with admission and guests can drop in at any point between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.
13. Workshop: Writing Political Poetry
SATURDAY FROM 1 P.M. TO 5 P.M. | WOODLAND PATTERN BOOKCENTER
We all need a creative outlet to channel our emotions and for many, it’s writing poetry. Class leader and Milwaukee native Ed Werstein began writing poetry in his late fifties after spending most of his career as a union member active in the labor movement. He is a lifelong peace activist and regularly attends rallies and protests against war. The class will begin by discussing an article by Marilyn Taylor and several political poems. Then, participants will write their own poem. Tickets are based on a sliding scale and all donations go directly to the instructor.

It’s Celebrate Milwaukee/414 Day at the Milwaukee Makers Market! The MMM supports local small business entrepreneurs including makers, bakers, students and artists. Every dollar spent goes directly back into the community and helps support the local maker economy. This market is hosted at Discovery World and is free to attend. 15. DIY Ear Seed Class
SUNDAY FROM 12 P.M. TO 2 P.M. | THE CACTUS CLUB
Amy Severinsen and Heather Eldridge of Milwaukee Community Acupuncture are leading a two hour class in the history and basics of ear seeding. The technique, also known as auriculotherapy, is rooted in traditional Chinese medicine and gained popularity as a noninvasive form of acupuncture. Participants will receive a starter pack of three types of seeds, a tweezer for applying and a handout of commonly used points. Tickets are available online at a sliding scale price of between $10 and $20.
16. First-Ever Pork Raffle Experience

Lakefront Brewery is teaming up with Prairie Fresh, Chef Matt Abdoo, DJ Shawna and Milwaukee-influencer JMatt for a high energy Hunger Task Force benefit raffle. There are over 60 Prairie Fresh pork prizes to be won across multiple rounds. Doors open and ticket sales begin at 1 p.m. Prizes will be drawn from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
