Create an artistic masterpiece featuring sunflowers at Paint & Sip, happening at The Tap Yard – West Bend (4875 County Hwy. Z). The painting happens from 6 to 8 p.m. at tickets are $30.
The weekly release at 1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.) is Life Is A Ryeway, a red IPA made with rye. It hits the taps on Wednesday and bottles are available to the public on Friday at 11 a.m.

1840 Brewing Company’s Beer Garden Road Show comes to Fox Point’s Longacre Pavilion (7343 North Longacre Rd.) from 4 to 8 p.m. Buy a cool stein for $15 and the first fill of Oktoberfest or Festbier is free.
Component Brewing (2018 S. 1st St.) is pairing beer with pierogi. They’re offering for purchase a flight of four Component brews and a flight of four pierogi, with the dumplings made by the excellent Hot Dish Pantry.
Black Rose Blending, releases its first bottles in Milwaukee at Supermoon Beer Co. (3145 S. Howell Ave.) this week. Preorder is available now with pickup starting at 3 p.m. on Friday. The project was started by Kyle Metz, who was previously with Funk Factory Geuzeria.
Discount Liquor Milwaukee is offering samples from Badger State Brewing from 3 to 5 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 30
Oktoberfest is happening at Explorium Brewpub (5300 S 76th St.) from noon to 10 p.m. Get there at 3 p.m. for a free firkin tapping and stay until live music starts at 6 p.m.
The Wisconsin Brewery Running Series is also making a stop at Explorium. The 5K run starts at 11 a.m. and your registration includes a beer at the finish line.

It’s SnobtoberFest at Beer Snobs Ale & Eats (122 Cottonwood Ave., Hartland). The block party starts at 6 p.m. and includes a beer truck, live music, food and fun.
Ubertoberfest is happening at Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) from 1 to 6 p.m. They’ll be releasing Ubertoberfest, an imperial Oktoberfest with a potent 8% ABV. There will also be food, games and music.
Bass Bay Brewhouse (S79 W15851 Aud Mar Dr., Muskego) is having an Oktoberfest celebration. The $25 admission gets you four drink tickets, food and live music.
Half Acre Brewing is coming to Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) for the monthly cribbage tournament. Register to participate and know that you can enjoy a few great Half Acre beers while you play.
Bikes and Brews is a bike pub crawl that begins at Centraal Grand Cafe and Tappery (2306 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.) at 11 a.m. The ride includes six stops, each with a featured beer. Tickets are just $10 in advance ($15 day of the ride).
