1. PrideFest
THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY | HENRY MAIER FESTIVAL PARK
PrideFest – Milwaukee’s annual LGBTQ+ celebration – brings three days of concerts, performances and more to the Summerfest grounds. Kick off summer festival season this weekend at the event. In our June issue, we shared some ways to make the most of the event’s day and night activities and performances.
2. Art64
FRIDAY FROM 5-8 P.M., SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M.-4:30 P.M. | VILLAGE OF WAUWATOSA
Check out the nation’s largest live bracket-style painting tournament! This free event sees 64 artists going head-to-head, painting live over the course of two days until one emerges victorious. Each round has a different theme, and winners are decided by the crowd’s votes. In the end, all of the paintings will be available for sale and the grand prize winner will receive $20,000.
3. The First Deer District Farmer’s Market
SUNDAY FROM 10 A.M.-2 P.M. | DEER DISTRICT
This farmers market season will see a new market join the local scene. The Deer District is hosting a brand new market every Sunday starting this week, which will feature more than 100 vendors. You’ll find fresh fruits and veggies, meats and eggs, bakery items and more. The market will also feature live music, comfortable seating and the “Taste It Tent,” serving samples of foods available at the market.

4. Milwaukee Metal Fest
ALL WEEKEND AT VARIOUS TIMES | THE RAVE
Metal Fest is returning to The Rave with headliners Acid Bath, Killswitch Engage and Ministry. The lineup for each of the festival’s three days includes a wide variety of metal styles, including death metal, doom and hardcore. Tickets are available in single-day, two-day and three-day passes and the full setlist can be found online. There’s also a Metal Fest pre-party Thursday at 6 p.m. at The Rave, free to anyone with a two-day or three-day pass.
5. Queer Oasis with Lou’s Moms
THURSDAY AT 4 P.M. | CACTUS CLUB
DJ duo Lou’s Moms are celebrating Pride at Cactus Club. The duo are natives of Bay View and spin tracks from every genre. This dance party is free and open to all ages.
6. Pop Pride Bingo Extravaganza
THURSDAY FROM 7-10 P.M. | POP
Three drag queens – Dear Ruthie, Ramona the Drag Queen and Jaclyn Jill – will host 12 rounds of Pride bingo. The night will include music bingo, class bingo, interactive party games and a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds will be split between Courage+, Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) and the queens. Weather permitting, MADACC will be bringing adoptable dogs to the patio for an adoption pop-up. General admission is $11 and you can reserve your seat online.
7. A Walk in the Park – Cooper/Kops Park
FRIDAY AT 12 P.M. | COOPER PARK
Get outside this weekend! The Milwaukee Parks Foundation and Milwaukee County Parks are hosting a walk through Cooper and Kops park on Milwaukee’s North Side. Along the route, check out the athletic fields, wading pools and disc golf. This event is free for anyone to attend.
8. Broadway Bash featuring Eva Noblezada
FRIDAY AT 5 P.M. | MARCUS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
The 21st annual Broadway Bash is bringing together Broadway enthusiasts for a celebration benefiting the Marcus Performing Arts Center. The full gala package includes a reception featuring theatrically inspired food and drink, a ticket to see the program, an exclusive performance from Broadway star Eva Noblezada and access to the after party.
9. Present Music’s Nathalie Joachim
FRIDAY FROM 7:30-9:30 P.M. | MILWAUKEE ART MUSEUM
For Present Music’s season finale, the contemporary classical ensemble is recruiting composer, flutist and vocalist Nathalie Joachim for a concert exploring home and identity. Joachim will perform her piece “Ki moun ou ye,” diving into her Haitian heritage through her voice, electronic samples and an instrumental ensemble. Prior to the performance, visitors can see the Art Museum’s “Currents 40: Widline Cadet” exhibition and its extensive Haitian art collection.
10. 3rd St. Vintage Market
FRIDAY AND SATURDAY | 3RD ST. MARKET HALL
Vendors selling vintage clothes, memorabilia and more will fill 3rd Street Market Hall this weekend for this free admission, family-friendly market. You can grab food and drink at one of the hall’s many vendors.
11. 2026 Brew City Corvette Club Car, Truck & Bike Show
SATURDAY FROM 9 A.M.-4 P.M. | HARLEY-DAVIDSON MUSEUM
Classic Corvettes, custom bikes, trucks and specialty builds will be on display on the Harley-Davidson Museum campus this Saturday. Awards will be handed out at 3 p.m., and MOTOR restaurant will be open all day. Anyone looking to join the show can register on-site the day of from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and will receive one general admissions ticket to the museum.
12. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center 50th Anniversary Celebration
SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M.-4 P.M. | DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. COMMUNITY CENTER
This Saturday marks 50 years of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center! To celebrate, there will be live music, youth activities, building and mural tours and more. The performance lineup goes all afternoon. The event is free to attend and all-ages.
13. Walk it OUT
SATURDAY FROM 2-4 P.M. | MILWAUKEE LGBT COMMUNITY CENTER
Run Black and Green is hosting a Pride walk set to a Black queer soundtrack. The walk starts at the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center and ends at the Out in the Open Spoken Word Lounge at PrideFest. All ages are welcome – children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
14. Food Trucks and Jazz
SUNDAY FROM 11 A.M-6 P.M. | MILTON VRETENAR MEMORIAL PARK
Food Trucks and Jazz is back! Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of jazz music while getting a bite to eat. This year’s food truck lineup includes Caravan Camper, Atwood Highway BBQ, Tots on the Street and more. Admission is free.
15. Garden Opening Day
SUNDAY FROM 11 A.M.-4 P.M. | VILLA TERRACE DECORATIVE ARTS MUSEUM
The gates to the scenic garden at Villa Terrace are opening this Sunday! In celebration, there will be live music, a tarot card reader, a face painter and more. This event is free.
16. Milwaukee Pride Parade
SUNDAY AT 2 P.M. | DOWNTOWN MILWAUKEE
The Milwaukee Pride Parade will march down Second Street in Walker’s Point from Scott Street to Seeboth Street this weekend. Last year, there were 175 entrants and more than 1,000 spectators. This year’s theme is “Together We Are Pride.”
