BOOK: DOG’S DAY
The classic 1975 film Dog Day Afternoon depicts a bank robbery spurred by queer love, but the true story is more complicated and just as revelatory. Milwaukee writer Matthew J. Prigge unearths it in this nonfiction book, out Sept. 29.
