Explorium Brewpub (5300 S. 76th St.) kicks off its seventh anniversary celebrations with a beer dinner. The multi-course dinner begins at 6 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 24
Tess (2499 N. Bartlett Ave.) begins two nights of beer dinners with Brooklyn Brewery. The doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $68 and reservations can be made by calling 414-964-8377.
Reps from both Badger State Brewing and Toppling Goliath Brewing will be at Three Cellars (N72 W13400 Lund Ln., Menomonee Falls) for a tap takeover. The highlight is Tundra Conundrum Hazy IPA, a collab between the two breweries.
There’s no beer release at 1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.) this week, but they are offering a bargain. The public gets 25% off of cases made up of six different beer options. Members get 50% off. Time to stock up.
Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) explores beer cocktails and is mixing four of them. The cost for the event is $35.

Friday, Jan. 26
On the eve of Ice Bear Fest (see below), Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) is releasing a version of its Ice Bear Baltic Porter aged in Central Standard Cabin Strength Bourbon barrels.
If you want to be one of the 100 lucky people who are part of the mug club at Vennture Brew Co. (5519 W. North Ave.) get there at 5 p.m. to sign up. Cost is $100 and the perks are plentiful.
Component Brewing (2018 S. 1st St.) is pairing pierogi and beer from 5 to 8 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 27
Get out your best 80s ski gear because Ice Bear Fest is back at Third Space Brewing. The party, which celebrates the release of Ice Bear Baltic Porter, happens from noon to 7 p.m. There will be 80s music, a costume contest and general fun and frivolity.
If the 80s aren’t your thing, Broken Bat Brewery (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.) is hosting a Back to the ’90s Party from 5 to 9 p.m. They’ll be releasing Wendy, a hefeweizen named after The Sandlot siren Wendy Peffercorn. There will also be a costume contest, 90s music and more.
The official seventh anniversary party kicks of at Explorium Brewpub at 7 p.m. They’ll be releasing the 7th Anniversary Imperial Stout and they’ll host free brewery tours.
Lion’s Tail Brewing (8520 W. North Ave.) hosts a 45-minute yoga session at 11 a.m. The cost is $20 and includes a post workout beverage.
The weekly release at Hacienda Beer Co. (2018 E. North Ave.) is Vertigogo, a milk stout.
Sunday, Jan. 28
Handcrafted: Lakefront Makers Market comes to Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Browse more than a dozen local vendors while sipping Lakefront beers.
Plan for spring at Ope! Brewing Co. (6751 W. National Ave.). They’re hosting a mini market and plant/seed exchange from 2 to 5 p.m.
